By joining the PTO, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget. You also receive access to our Copeland Online Directory. When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join our board— you set a fine example for our students to follow, and greatly encourage our teachers and staff.
Membership is $12.00 per family
Our PTO membership dues and hosted fundraisers help us to fund Cultural Arts programs on campus for PreK - 5th grades, The Interactive Learning Garden, books for our literacy library, playground maintenance, classroom resources and much more.
The goal of the Copeland Elementary PTO is to enrich the education of the students of Copeland Elementary. Together with teachers, administration and parent/guardian support, we can improve the communication between home and school, increase parent involvement and provide programs and resources for our beloved Colts.
If I join, do I have to?
Go to meetings?
No. You are welcome to attend our general meetings though.
Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?
Nope! Joining the PTO is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer, we would LOVE the help—but volunteering is not required.

Volunteer of the Month
Who will be the Volunteer of the Month? Every month we honor the volunteer who has logged the most hours working for our kids. It is our way of thanking our hard-working VIP's. This honor gets your picture in the Horseshoe Review, a feature on CopelandPTO.org, our undying gratitude, and most importantly a reserved parking spot right up close in the school's front parking lot!
Brandy Clark is our Volunteer of the Month!
She is the head of our school's Science Resource Center activities and the kids' favorite 'snake lady'.
Thank you so much Brandy for everything you do for our school!
