Volunteers of the Month
Thank you for your time and dedication!

 

Who will be the Volunteer of the Month? Every month we honor the volunteer who has logged the most hours working for our kids. It is our way of thanking our hard working VIP's. This honor gets you your picture in the in the Horseshoe Review, a feature on CopelandPTO.org, our undying gratitude, and most importantly a reserved parking spot right up close in the school's front parking lot!
 

MAY ~ MONICA SANIL

 

Monica is just the sweetest and always thinking of others!  You will find Monica helping with our Hospitality Days in the break room, jumping in to help with Spirit Cart, bringing culture to life during Multicultural Day or even going on Field Trips helping with the kiddos in 4th grade.  She is always thinking outside the box and offering new ideas for yummy staff treats.  Thank you for your all you do for our Colts, Monica! 
 

 

 

 

APRIL ~ JEAN APPELGET

 

Jean is one of the ones you call on when EVER you need help, and one of our favorite Colt Grandmas!  You will often see her helping out with Spirit Cart, and in our library, but she is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed.  We are lucky to have her.

MARCH ~ MELANIE ABLACK

 

Melanie is a part of our 5th grade Liaison team and also spends her time helping on the 5th grade memory book!  You will also find Melanie helping in the Library and was very  involved in helping with the book fair.  We are lucky to have her.

FEBRUARY ~ Christina Appelget

 

Christina is a part of our 5th grade liaison team, working on the 5th grade field trip, luncheon and special activities. She has also spent countless hours of her time working on this year's yearbook committee and assisting with spirit cart. We are lucky to have her and her creativity as part of our Copeland community.

JANUARY ~ VERONICA FLORES
 
Veronica spends her time as a Home Room Coordinator for 2 classrooms, and supporting Ms Vigil as our Music Chair! If you were on campus at all during the Holiday's you saw all the wonderful decorations she helped organize and put together.  We are lucky to have her and her creativity.

DECEMBER ~ GABY LEAL
 
Gaby loves to help our Colts in the Library, The Garden and at Spirit Cart.  She also enjoys helping serve lunch to our staff during our monthly Hospitality Luncheons.  She is truly one of the sweetest & most welcoming parents ever.  Thank you for your all you do for our Colts, Gaby!
 

NOVEMBER ~ BRANDY CLARK

Brandy does so much for Copeland! She is our SRC Coordinator, pouring her time and talents into scheduling, training, and providing amazing Science Demos for our students in all grades. She is loving known as the 'Copeland Snake Lady' by many of our kiddos. Brandy is also frequently the first to pitch in when we need help with various school events, spirit cart and the library.

October ~ Jenny Fuentes

Jenny Fuentes is our Volunteer of the Month! 

Jenny is a wonderfully cheerful & happy person.  She volunteers as often as she can, which is usually everyday.  She is exceptionally hardworking, has a big desire to help and not afraid to get her hands dirty.  No task is off limits!  Jenny's kindness and love of Copeland shines through everyday and Ashley Clarke is often found to be saying she would be lost without her.
