Dear Families,

Welcome back to all returning families and a big WELCOME to all new families!  I am so excited to get to work with an amazing group of parents this year.

We all know this year is very different than past years, but that doesn't change our goal to enrich the education of the students of Copeland Elementary.  Together with teachers, administration and parent/guardian support, we can improve the communication between home and school, increase parent involvement and provide programs and resources for our beloved Colts.

Our PTO hosted fundraisers help us to fund and provide Cultural Arts programs on campus for Pre K - 5th grades.  The interactive Learning Garden, books for our literacy library, Enrichment Learning Software for the students, classroom resources are just a few things the PTO provides.  While fundraising is an important part of what we do, our PTO is certainly about more than asking for money!  We are about families working together toward a common goal: Creating a better school and a better educational experience for our children.  We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers, administrators and support staff can do their best work – and so can our children.

Returning PTO members and new members, we thank you for your contribution, time and commitment to our PTO organization, our teachers and most importantly, our students and their families!  Individually, you help make it Copeland.  Collectively, WE make it Copeland.

I look forward to a successful 2020-2021 school year.

Thank you,

Amanda Ball

Volunteer of the Month

Who will be the Volunteer of the Month? Every month we honor the volunteer who has logged the most hours working for our kids. It is our way of thanking our hard working VIP's. This honor gets your picture in the Horseshoe Review, a feature on, our undying gratitude, and most importantly a reserved parking spot right up close in the school's front parking lot!
